Enhanced Bushing & Pin
Performance via R&D
Developing advanced technologies to reduce friction, wear, and enhance the durability of
construction machinery in extreme conditions.
Construction equipment demands high durability due to frequent use in harsh, demanding environments.
Especially improving the friction and wear characteristics of pins and bushings—key components of construction machinery hinges—is a primary research focus for all equipment manufacturers, as it enhances durability and increases user convenience.
To ensure the durability of pins and bushings, various methods must be thoroughly evaluated.
Construction equipments are generally used in the site where the site conditions are severe.
It is why durability is one of the most essential properties for equipment.
So enhancing properties regarding friction and abrasion resistance of pins and bushings, which are the essential parts of joint connecting each structural components, is common research objective of every equipment makers. In order to secure enough durability of pins and bushings, the following methods should be considered.

Test for Pins and Bushings
Bushings cannot perform the joint function alone but should be coupled with other component.
We have developed diverse bushings and pins in order to achieve most effective combination system.
These developments are optimized through analysis and experiments with consideration for surface conditions (including roughness, tolerance and hardness), circumstantial conditions (including temperature, corrosion situation) and load pressure condition.
Operational Stress — contact stress, sliding speed, type of rotation, assembly tolerance, etc
Operational Environment — abrasion, corrosion, high temperature, etc
Lubrication — dry type, periodical greasing, initial grease supply, etc
Regarding diverse technical choices, Daekeum Geowell fully study features needed to apply to each equipment to decide technical specifications and reflect them to the manufacturing process.
